Distriqa is release-preparation and metadata QA software for independent record labels. Finished tracks go in; a verified, distributor-ready release package comes out. It is built and operated by Gentjan Nika, a working record-label operator based in Albania.

Founder
Gentjan runs an independent record label and spent years preparing releases by hand - building metadata, checking identifiers, chasing artwork and composer credits before every delivery. Distriqa is that work made repeatable and checkable, built by someone who does it rather than a generic software vendor. He writes the software, and during the private beta he onboards every label personally.
The company
Distriqa was founded in 2026 and is operated from Albania. It is an independent, self-funded product, currently in private beta while labels are onboarded personally. Payments are handled by Paddle as merchant of record.
What we build
Independent labels lose days per release to work that is mechanical but unforgiving: naming and casing rules that differ per distributor, identifiers that must be unique and correctly formatted, composer and performer credits that have to be right for royalties to flow, artwork that gets rejected for reasons nobody explains. Distriqa does that preparation and checks it before delivery, so releases are not turned back.
- Release preparation - build a complete, standardised release from a folder of finished tracks, or from metadata alone.
- Metadata QA - validate an existing distributor sheet against the rules that get releases rejected, and get it back clean.
- Credits and identifiers - resolve composer and performer credits, and check ISRCs, UPCs and catalogue numbers for duplicates and format errors.
- Artwork - check covers against distributor requirements, or generate compliant ones.
Audio never leaves the label's machine. Only metadata is sent to the service. See the FAQ for how that boundary works, or the privacy policy for what is stored.
